James S. Barry
J.D., LL.M., CLU, ChFC, received his law degree from the University of Georgia and his LL.M. in Taxation from the College
of
William and Mary. Jim received additional credits at the University of Miami LL.M. program in Estate
Planning. He has been in the life insurance industry since 1982, when he started in sales with Metropolitan
Life. Jim also served as a Vice President and General Counsel for a member of M Financial, and
recently was an advanced underwriter with one of Equitable’s top agencies in South Florida. He is also a member of
AALU.
Karen Fishell
CLU, comes to Nautilus Plus with more than 26 years of experience in the life insurance industry.
Originally from Connecticut, Karen has more than 15 years of experience in qualified benefit planning, assisting brokers
and
their clients with design and administration of their defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
For the past 11 years, she has worked for Clark/Bardes Inc., a third-party administrator of non-qualified insured benefit
plans. Karen has worked with many top producers across the country supporting their plan design needs.
Chad W. Forsberg
holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from Southern Methodist University and a Juris Doctor
from Georgetown. In addition to having been in the private practice of law in Plano, Texas,
Chad worked for law firms in Dallas and Chicago prior to starting with The Nautilus Group.
Lisa L. Maillet,
J.D., holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Baylor
University and a Juris Doctor from Baylor University
School of Law. She joined The Nautilus Group in
2000 as an Estate and Legal Analyst. In addition
to having served as an assistant county and district
attorney in various Texas counties, Lisa also worked for
a non-profit agricultural membership organization in
Waco as a staff attorney before coming to The Nautilus
Group.
